I know Tumblr isn’t all about actually blogging, but why would you have a Tumblog of reblogs of other people’s photos and other people’s quotes. Most likely, we’ve seen those pictures over and over again and than your Tumblarity is like through the roof—-for what? For being unoriginal. For reblogging something that’s been seen or said 1000x. Most people’s about me sections are way more interesting than what they post. I read a bit about you and I want to get to know you based off what I know, but…than you post the same picture of the ocean, or of a flower, or of some funny joke. Just LIKE it and post your own stuff. Be original. Tell me about yourself. Than you say your’re into photography and art. Okay, thats cool. Just don’t call yourself a photographer or an artist. You’re an UN-O-RIGINAL. It’s just shallow and boring to see that stuff over and over again. Save it for photobucket.

Dance Choreograped to “Radio” - Music Soulchild This one’s gonna be fun =] I tried to give myself a time frame of two days to come up with something new. I haven’t choreographed a “Swag” piece in a while so we’ll see how it turns out… I rarely use a mirror when I choregraph so I go by how it feels while I’m creating something, therefore, I have no idea what it looks like til I actually get in the studio. Yikes. Haha
Today’s Ramblings In my opinion, a dancer, no matter what discipline should start with their foundations. For example, as a bboy you should learn your basics: top rock, six step, etc before you start doing airflares. Same applies to other areas of dance. You have to learn how to walk before you run. I feel that a lot of kids nowadays want to hop on to what they see on TV without the training. They want the glory without the work required to get there. What people don’t realize is it takes people years to develop their “style” and even then its still constantly changing. Personally my “style” in choreography has changed so much even within the last couple of months. Its not about creating the most exciting 8 counts or really just kiling an instrumental witn nasty beats… its not about MOVES its about moveMENT [courtesy of Joe Larot]. And another thing: Just because a television show labels you as something people automatically assume that all you are and thats all you do. Oh reality TV
DO know that guys like it when you’re not super trendy. “I love individuality. Wearing what you feel is the best representation of yourself.”
DON’T waste your time dating a show-off. “The bravado? That guy needs to save it for the golf course.”
DO know that men appreciate you au naturel. “What you spray on should accentuate the way you smell. Pheromones are way sexier than any scent.”
DON’T be afraid to push him. “Relationships are funny. You have to constantly fall in love and challenge each other.”
DO exercise together. “It’s the coolest thing you can do.”
AND PLEASE DON’T … bum-rush celebs. “This guy, I couldn’t figure out if he was hitting on me or my girlfriend. He was like, ‘You’re the funniest, you wear the coolest clothes.’ Then he blows Jess a kiss and goes, ‘I’ll see you in my dreams.’ All we could do was laugh.”
So this marks the “first” day of the use of my tumblr as a personal health record keeper. I feel it will help me succeed in this diet I’m trying as well as keepin up with the P90X program this time around… we’ll see if I wanna pay for those DVDs.

1. I really want to move to LA. I have family and friends there, the opportunity for me to grow as a dancer is much greater. I want to learn from everyone, train with everyone… sometimes I feel like my time is limited so that pushes me to want to do this even more. I want to keep pushing the envelope!
2. I think guys forget what it is to be a man sometimes. No no not a mysoginistic, Foul mouthed, sex crazed man, but just a MAN. A beer drinking, steak eating, bad action movie watching, gentlemen. The word is gentleMEN no?
