I’m the type of person who has to learn things the hard way. Sure, I’ll take all the advice I can get; until I go through the rough patches on my own I’ll never figure things out for myself.
Mistakes? I’ve made them. Would I change anything about my past? Honestly, no. Those mistakes have shaped me to be the man I am today.  
To say I regret the past would be unwise, for it is in my shortcomings where I’ve learned the most.
